Start with the locations and applications.
Identify the addresses involved, the business applications that depend on the connection, and the effect of an interruption. Explain existing problems in practical terms so providers can respond to the operating need.
Verify availability at each site.
Ask each provider to confirm which services it can deliver at the actual location. Review installation dependencies, equipment, access arrangements, and proposed timing. Keep assumptions visible until the provider confirms them.
Compare service and support terms.
Review the quoted service scope, support hours, escalation route, installation charges, recurring charges, and renewal conditions. Ask the provider to explain what happens if service is interrupted and which responsibilities remain with your team.
Coordinate the transition.
Keep current contract dates, installation dependencies, acceptance testing, and the internal decision owner in one plan. Where internet access is part of an SD-WAN or multi-site project, make the handoffs between providers explicit.
Put the questions to work.
Create a brief for your own project, or explore the advisory scope.
